سعي البحث الحالي إلى التعرف علي توأمة الجامعات في ضوء الأدبيات التربوية المعاصرة, وتعرف متطلبات تطبيق التوأمة في جامعة جنوب الوادي من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم, واستخدام البحث المنهج الوصفي، وفقًا لطبيعة مشكلته وأهدافه؛ وطبق استمارة استطلاع رأي كأداة عينة عشوائية تضمنت 50 عضو هيئة تدريس, ومعاون بكليات (التربية بقنا, العلوم, الزراعة, الطب, الآداب, التربية النوعية)؛ وتضمنت السؤالين (كيف يمكن تحقيق التوأمة بجامعة جنوب الوادي؟, ما معوقات تطبيق التوأمة بجامعة جنوب الوادي؟), وتوصلت النتائج إلي أن: متطلبات تطبيق توأمة الجامعات في جامعة جنوب الوادي خاصة, والجامعات المصرية عامة في تتضمن متطلبات تشريعية, ومتطلبات إدارية, متطلبات مادية وبشرية, ومتطلبات ثقافية وأيدولوجية, ومتطلبات تقنية, وأن جامعة جنوب الوادي كغيرها من الجامعات المصرية تواجه تحديات تختلف درجة تواجدها وتأثيرها من جامعة لآخري؛ والتي غالبًا ما يمكن تداركها لاقتناص فرص التوأمة بشكل فعال لتحقيق المزيد من النجاحات التي تعزز التطور الأكاديمي والابتكار في الجامعات المصرية المتوأمة؛ ولعل أبرز هذه التحديات تكمن في: اللغة, واختلاف الثقافات, والتوقيت, والبنية التحتية, والتمويل, والإدارة, والاهتمام.

Abstract
The current research aimed to identify twinning universities in the light of contemporary educational literature, defining the requirements for applying twinning at SouthValley University (SVU ) from the point of view of teaching staff and their associates, and using the descriptive method of research according to the nature of the problem and its objectives; A survey form was used as a random sample tool, which included 50 faculty members and associates of faculties (pedagogues, science, agriculture, medicine, literature and qualitative education); Two questions included (how can twinning be achieved at? What are the obstacles to implementing twinning at SVU?), and the results reached that: The requirements for applying twinning universities at SVU in particular, and Egyptian universities in general in include legislative requirements, administrative requirements, material and human requirements, cultural and ideological requirements, and technical requirements, and that SVU like other Egyptian universities faces challenges that vary the degree of its presence and impact from one university to another; Which is often reversible in order to effectively harness twinning opportunities for further successes that promote academic development and innovation in twin Egyptian universities; Perhaps most notable are language, cultural differences, timing, infrastructure, finance, administration, and attention.
